Inspirée par l’environnement qui l’entoure, la nature et les ciels, Leslie Lucas réussit, à travers ses réalisations minimalistes en cyanotype, à transmettre les sensations que lui procure cette contemplation. Diplômée de l'école Boulle en atelier sculpture et en broderie à l’école Lesage, elle conjugue les savoir-faire en s’alliant parfois à d’autres artisans d’art à l’image de sa collaboration avec @antonin_anzil . L’alliage de ses bleus spirituels et intenses mariés à l’or éclatant et volatile donne naissance à ses œuvres miniatures, instinctives et spirituelles qui nous permettent d’explorer les profondeurs de l’âme.

Inspired by the environment that surrounds her, nature and skies, Leslie Lucas succeeds, through her minimalist cyanotype creations, in transmitting the sensations that this contemplation gives to her. Graduated of the Boulle school in sculpture and embroidery at Lesage school, she combines know-how by sometimes joining forces with other craftsmen, as in her collaboration with @antonin_anzil . The combination of her spiritual and intense blues with bright and volatile gold gives birth to her miniature, instinctive and spiritual works that allow us to explore the depths of the soul.

C’est depuis son atelier en Charente Limousine que Matt Woods, ferronnier et ébéniste
d’art, travaille et crée un véritable bestiaire de créations. Une des dernières en date,
nommée Herens, représente une tête de vache de la race suisse du même nom. Son travail
d’une grande précision a pour objectif d’insuffler la vie dans ses œuvres. Impressionnantes
sans être intimidantes pour autant, ses œuvres ont une véritable présence et captive le
spectateur dès le premier regard. En 2022 il gagne le prix de la jeune création métier d’arts,
qui depuis 60 ans récompense les talents émergents afin de mettre leur travail et leur
personnalité en lumière.
Nous avons eu l’occasion de rencontrer Matt Woods et d’observer ses créations durant le
salon Maison et Objet 2022 et nous avons été nous-même impressionné par l’énergie qui
s’en dégagent. Cependant c’est en s’approchant que l’on se rend compte de la justesse du
travail de Matt, plein de détails d’une finesse rare, qui assemblés contribuent à rendre ses
œuvres si harmonieuses.

It is from his workshop in Charente Limousine that Matt Woods, ironworker, and
cabinetmaker, works and creates a veritable bestiary of creations. One of his latest
creations, named Herens, represents a cow's head from the Swiss breed of the same name.
His precision work aims to breathe life into his pieces. Impressive without being intimidating,
his works have a real presence and captivate the viewer at first sight. In 2022, he won the
"Prix de la jeune création métier d'arts", which for 60 years has rewarded emerging talents
in order to highlight their work and personality.

Née en 1962 au Brésil et diplômée d’une école d’architecture en 1985, découvre la céramique et se fascine pour l’infinité des possibilités artistiques offertes par ce matériau. Son bagage académique associé à son attrait pour la nature inspire ses créations, des paysages de céramique formés de centaines de formes faites à la main. De son travail elle fait une célébration de la nature mais dénonce également les torts qui lui sont faits. La destruction de sa forêt amazonienne brésilienne et la détérioration de nos récifs coraliens sont notamment des causes qui l’inspirent beaucoup et qui l’ont conduite à créer l’œuvre « Scorched », dont le puissant noir dénote de l’habituel épure blanc de ses créations. Ses travaux, d’une grande délicatesse, animés d’une véritable ambition et chargés de puissants messages ont su par ailleurs parler à de grandes maisons de luxe telles que
Chanel et l’ont amenée à être exposés dans différents musées à travers le monde.

Born in 1962 in Brazil and graduated from a school of architecture in 1985, she discovered ceramics and became fascinated by the infinite artistic possibilities offered by this material. Her academic background combined with her attraction to nature inspires her creations, ceramic landscapes made up of hundreds of handmade forms. She creates both small and large works, sometimes monumental and designed for public and
private spaces. Her work is a celebration of nature, but also a denunciation of the wrongs done to it. The destruction of her
Brazilian rainforest and the deterioration of our coral reefs are among the causes that inspire her and that led her to create the work "Scorched", which powerful black color stands out from the usual white purity of her creations.
